Redi-Edge® Knife Sharpener Instructions
How To Sharpen A Straight Blade
- Place the sharpener as shown on a table.
- The sharpening blades should be facing you.
- Grip the Redi-Edge® sharpener by the long end.
- Set the knife blade between the sharpeners and draw the knife towards you, working from the rear to the tip. Only light-to-moderate pressure is required.
- Repeat until the blade is sharp.
How To Sharpen A Serrated Blade
- Place knife on a table or countertop with the serrated blade facing up as shown.
- Grip the Redi-Edge® Multi Tool honing rod with your other hand.
- Sharpen each grove by drawing the honing rod away from you.
- Only light-to-moderate pressure is required.
- Repeat until the blade is sharp.
How To Sharpen A Broadhead
- Only deploy one blade to be sharpened at a time.
- Grasp the sharpener between the thumb and the index finger (The Redi-Edge® Logo should be resting on the index finger).
- Position the blade between the Duromite™ cutters of the sharpener.
- Lightly draw the sharpener down the length of the blade.
- Repeat until the blade is sharp (5 or 6 times).
