Redi-Edge® Knife Sharpener Instructions

How To Sharpen A Straight Blade

  1. Place the sharpener as shown on a table.
  2. The sharpening blades should be facing you.
  3. Grip the Redi-Edge® sharpener by the long end.
  4. Set the knife blade between the sharpeners and draw the knife towards you, working from the rear to the tip. Only light-to-moderate pressure is required.
  5. Repeat until the blade is sharp.

How To Sharpen A Serrated Blade

  1. Place knife on a table or countertop with the serrated blade facing up as shown.
  2. Grip the Redi-Edge® Multi Tool honing rod with your other hand.
  3. Sharpen each grove by drawing the honing rod away from you.
  4. Only light-to-moderate pressure is required.
  5. Repeat until the blade is sharp.

How To Sharpen A Broadhead

  1. Only deploy one blade to be sharpened at a time.
  2. Grasp the sharpener between the thumb and the index finger (The Redi-Edge® Logo should be resting on the index finger).
  3. Position the blade between the Duromite™ cutters of the sharpener.
  4. Lightly draw the sharpener down the length of the blade.
  5. Repeat until the blade is sharp (5 or 6 times).

How To Open a Can with the P38 Combo

  1. Place can opener as shown in diagram with rim of can inside the can opener slot.
  2. Keep can rim in slot to provide leverage and twist forward to puncture can.
  3. Keeping rim in slot, pull opener towards you and repeat stroke to open can.
